About My Designs
I am a graphic designer from the Boston area in Massachusetts. I studied Graphic Design and Art History at Marist College in New York, where I worked as a Designer and Student Worker for the Steel Plant Art Gallery. Some of my gallery designs are featured in my portfolio exhibiting a love for typography, gestalt and heirarchy. Other featured works include designs from classes, past jobs and internships, as well as pieces created for fun, on my own time.
My artwork is my world. Both cathartic and narrative, it expounds upon my relationship with control. It communicates a human need to embrace the uncontrollable and the heeds the consequences of quelling life, itself, amid all its chaos. My art is a celebration of what I have overcome and an ode to who I wish to be.
My book covers reflect upon the narrative nature of my art. They combine my love for digital collage, illustration and graphic design. Book covers capture the essence of my art. With cover design, the reader needs to garner a general understanding of the book, but most importantly, fall in love with the aesthetic of the book they are being sold. As such, my designs perfectly align with the standards of contemporary publication design.
